Scope of works includes external structural repairs including associated roof repairs, replacements windows, re-wires and replacement kitchen and bathroom installation.

The ideal candidate will posses 4 – 5 years of experience of surveying or Estimating within the structural refurbishment field, be qualified to HNC building studies as a minimum, be motivated, forward thinking, having specific experience of working on external and internal social housing refurbishment would be advantageous.

Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary contractor based in the Greater Manchester area is seeking to recruit two Site Managers to oversee the development of luxury apartments in the region of £4 - 5 million based in Manchester & Preston city centre.

The successful candidate will be a team player looking to further their career within an expanding company. You will have a steady background of permanent employment and should have worked for a recognised main contractor in a similar capacity on large Design and Build projects, have been a site manager for at least 5 years, probably having moved through the ranks at your current / previous employers from being a foreman / site agent or assistant site manager before becoming a full site manager. You will need to demonstrate man management skills, excellent organisation skills, liaise both internally and externally. Proven track record of getting projects finished on time and to budget is essential. Also experience of new build works, up to date Health & Safety qualifications and good education required.

Duties include:
- Progress reports.
- Target forecasting.
- Internal and external liaison.
- Co-ordinating labour.
- Risk assessments.
- Problem solving.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Due to securing new contracts they are now seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work on their luxury apartment development in Manchester City Centre. This project is in the region of £4 - 5 million.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level and preferably chartered, have experience of refurb & new build projects to the value of £6 million, be a team player, enthusiastic, proactive especially in communication. Demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised, be able to adapt when confronted by new situations and be looking to further their career within an expanding company.

Duties include:

- Ensuring the best quality and most cost effective solutions.
- Internal and external liaison.
- Design risk management.
- Project progress reports.

RESIDENTIAL LIASON OFFICER

Our client is a well established and highly successful building contractor who specialise in regeneration of public sector housing through out the Northwest, Yorkshire and the Midlands. Due to expansion they are now seeking to recruit additional Resident Liaison Officers.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a high standard, experienced in dealing with the public on all levels, courteous, motivated & enthusiastic, possess excellent organisational skills communicate on all levels and always strive to exceed expectations.


Duties included:

- Internal and external liaison.
- Provide support to site team.
- Planning.
- Problem Solving.
- Implementation of company procdure.
- Maintaining relationships.
- Preparing reports.
- Preparing hand over packs.
- Instruct on new instillations.
