Our client is looking for a Web Developer, experienced
in server-side technologies, with strong technical production
(HTML, CSS) and excellent written communication skills.
The role
They need a talented web developer with a broad base of
technical skills and
1+ year's professional experience. You will work alongside
the current
Technical Lead, and also the Design Manager and a Creative
Designer,
producing work in digital media.
The 'Technical producer' aspect is about problem-solving
production issues
with HTML, requiring extensive knowledge of hand-coded
HTML, XHTML,
CSS and Javascript. The need is to produce solid, bug-free,
browser, platform
and standards-compatible code.
The 'Web developer' aspect needs recent experience with
PHP and mySQL,
with an awareness of ASP and to a lesser degree, JSP, Perl
and other
internet technologies. You'll need the ability to create
web-delivered
applications from start to finish, integrating a database
that you will create via
command-line and web-based tools.
The person
Aptitude, coupled with recent, relevant experience is
the key requirement.

The main responsibility of the role being to ensure the
production and test system supports the LIVE applications
